How to trigger a tag upon multiple pageviews in a session using GTM?

It’s very easy to setup a tag which triggers on multiple pageviews in Google Analytics as compared to Google Tag Manager. GTM does not maintain state, as soon as you navigate away from a page GTM has forgotten about it.

To trigger a tag after multiple pageviews you will need to store a count of pageviews. It could be either in a cookie / local storage. Finally use the stored value as trigger condition of the tag.
