Regaining Admin Access to Google Analytics Premium

Recovering google analytics account had been an aching process since the beginning. There wasn’t a certain activity which would help analytics users get access to the lost account. Recently, analytics team has shared a new way to facilitate recovery of the account. If you have lost access to analytics account and looking for access, read the process below.

 

Why do you need to Recover Google Analytics Account?

This can happen when your account administrator leaves the company without assigning a new administrator or you lost the credentials of the Gmail account setup as an admin.

Your account is still receiving data but without administrator access, you can not add/delete any user. To give access and add a new user you will need to have administrator access to your account.

 

Who can recover analytics account?

Two cases when you need administrator access, one is when you are an employee of any organization and the other when you are the owner of any organization. The first case is simple, just ask your organization head for admin access.

If you are an organization owner yourself, follow the steps below:

 

Recover Analytics Account

Step 1: Visit http://360suite.google.com

Step 2: Navigate to products >>  analytics

Step 3: Select the account for which you want to access

Step 4: Under the User Management from the right pane, select access product

Step 5: Enter the email address under the add permission for settings.

Step 6: Next, select manage users from the drop down menu

Step 7: click the add button to save settings.
